Pink Diamond
A pink diamond falls into one of the many possible color
categories of this crystal. Diamonds come in a range of colors due to
different impurities. Some of these lower the value of the diamond.
At other times, it makes the diamond worth more.
The structural anomalies which may result in a pink diamond comes through
plastic deformation. Red and brown diamonds may also arise through this.
Pink is significantly more rare of a color than brown. However, red
is rarer than pink.
A pink diamond may be further classified by color. It may be coral,
baby, or aurora pastel. It also may be a dark and deep color such as
sherry, ruby, or cedar. Vivid and intense versions include bubblegum,
clover, or strawberry.
